Official winner — Tyler Reddick (#45): where the car was at the checkered flag (P1). Led 53 laps with 6.36 average running position and 8,879 TLS points.
TLS leader — Bubba Wallace (#23): most position-weighted points across every scored lap (9,014 points). Finished P8 with 46 laps led and 5.86 ARP. TLS rewards running up front all afternoon, not only the final lap.
Best ARP — Kyle Larson (#5): lowest average running position (5.46). Finished P32 with 5,400 TLS points and 48 laps led. ARP is an average across all laps — a driver can run near the front all day yet score fewer TLS points if they led fewer laps, completed fewer laps, or lost ground late while keeping a strong average.
The checkered flag reflects who survived the final seconds. TLS reflects where drivers ran across the whole race. ARP tells you the typical running spot — but not who banked the most valuable laps.
Two overtimes decide Atlanta
Qualifying was canceled due to weather, and the race stretched to 271 laps after multiple cautions and two overtime attempts. Kyle Larson (#5) led 48 laps but fell to P32 after late incidents; Tyler Reddick (#45) led 53 laps and ran up front most of the afternoon but still had to survive chaos to win.
A nine-car crash on lap 224 shuffled the field, and a 13-car pileup on lap 257 brought out a red flag. In the first overtime, Carson Hocevar (#77) made contact with Christopher Bell (#20) and ended Bell's run at the front. On the second overtime restart, Bubba Wallace (#23) led briefly before Reddick (#45) and Hocevar (#77) raced side by side; Reddick cleared in turn 2 and won by 0.164 seconds over Chase Briscoe (#19).
