First Bristol overtime since 2015
Kyle Larson (#5) won stage 2 — his third straight stage win at Bristol — while Ty Gibbs (#54) was not up front until the race's final act. Ryan Blaney (#12) lost ground during a pit stop after the stage and ran much of the second half in traffic.
Cautions on laps 313, 383, and 477 kept pit strategy in play. A lap-498 spin by Riley Herbst (#35) forced the first Bristol overtime since April 2015. On the final lap Blaney (#12) made a run off turn 4 but Gibbs (#54) edged him at the line.
